Everyone gets stuck at some point in their life. Whether it's career, relationships or personal development, I can help. Together we can explore what you want and what your natural and most powerful way of achieving that is.
Coaching
"You cannot solve a problem from the same consciousness that created it. You must learn to see the world anew."
Albert Einstein
Coaching is an open and honest partnership which enables you to see the world from a different view point and so be the very best version of you.
Through thought-provoking questioning and challenge it can:
- help you understand your own behaviours and adjust those that impede your progress.
- raise awareness of limiting beliefs which could be holding you back.
- improve confidence.
- help recognise your values and what is important to you.
- help develop goals for personal, professional and business development as well as a plan to achieve all of these things.
ICF is the International Coaching Federation. They provide professional development, accreditation and guidance to coaches worldwide.
What you can expect from me
- Be a partner in bringing out the best, the deepest, and the truest version of you.
- Maintain the ethics and standards of behaviour established by the International Coaching Federation.
- Keep you safe and provide the most appropriate coaching experience in which you can relax and explore.
- Respect the confidentiality of the agreements we make.
- Listen carefully to what you say and ask questions that increase awareness.
- Be available via email/WhatsApp in between scheduled meetings, although my response may not be immediate.
What I expect from you
- Be responsible for your own decisions and choices throughout this process.
- Communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance and to create the time and energy to participate fully in the process.
- Keep me honestly informed as to what is and what is not working for you.
- Agree to engage in a minimum of four sessions of coaching via whichever means suits us best.
About Me!
Wendy Tungate
After twenty years of teaching in primary schools and mentoring student teachers, I have now stepped away from the classroom to focus on coaching. Having completed a MA Education (leadership and management), I became fascinated with the benefits and processes of coaching. I completed my International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited training with Barefoot Coaching and am completing my Post-Graduate Certificate in Personal and Business Coaching.
My approach
I am a great believer in 'The mind that holds the problem, holds the solution'. I use a range of tools, strategies and questioning to help clients see a different view of themselves and the world around them. I am happy to coach whilst meandering around the countryside (with or without my dog), online or face to face. All I ask is that you are open and honest with me and yourself.
What are the basics?
Coaching is an opportunity to create a safe space and time for you to think about you. It is a trusted partnership between coach and client which focuses on the needs of the client at any given time. It works on the principle that you are a whole person with strengths and weaknesses. You are not broken, and I am not there to fix you.
